“I suffered a fractured wisdom tooth and was in a lot of pain. I contacted my regular dentist and many other dentists in the area but was met with, no available appointments or that the procedure had to be referred because it was a complicated extraction. “Saved my molar! I had a lower 6 needing a root canal so I decided to shop around for good quality private treatment, leading me to Oakmead (NHS dentist refused treatment other than extraction!). Dr Dooley took care of me and really saved my tooth. The overall treatment was reasonably priced and when we encountered an issue after 2nd appointment he was ready with solid options should my preferred treatment route fail and they kept me informed as to what was happening throughout the treatment. “There is a very warm and friendly feel about Oakmead as soon as you enter. The receptionists are welcoming and very efficient and the waiting area is comfortable and relaxing. Dr Peter Dooley has been my dentist for a long time. I have complete confidence and trust in his clinical abilities. Dr Dooley is quite informal in a most professional way which I have always found reassuring. I also attend the hygienist regularly and Karen does a great job. “I came to Oakmead Dental Practice reluctantly as I have a deep-rooted illogical fear of the dentist. Initially, it was a cracked tooth that forced me to come. As both my Husband and Son use this dentist it made sense for me to come to Oakmead. The kindness and sensitivity to my fears shown by Dr Dooley & Lara the dental nurse enabled me to have a filling done without sedation, something I have never done before. My next appointment was due to a tooth being capped. Although Dr Dooley assured me that I would be fine, my fears got the better of me and I requested sedation. This was given to me in a very professional & caring manner.
