HYGIENISTS
Hygienists Karen and Megan play an important role in the prevention and treatment of gum disease. The hygienist’s main work is to clean your teeth and help to maintain a healthy mouth. This is called scaling and polishing and will, therefore, treat gum disease whilst making your teeth feel and look shiny and clean. They will also give you dietary advice to prevent tooth decay, but most importantly will show you how to clean your teeth to prevent further gum disease. Prevention is always better than cure! A hygienist appointment is a 30-minute treatment, and they treat both adults and children.
