Most people are a little nervous about a first visit anywhere since they are entering new surroundings and meeting new people. However, at Oakmead, you are welcomed by a dedicated member of the team in calm, contemporary surroundings.

Your first appointment will be relaxed and informative. We discuss your previous dental experiences and conduct a thorough examination. We like to learn about you so that we can provide care that is a real contribution to the quality of your life. There is plenty of time to ask questions and discuss your treatment options, whether health-related, cosmetic or both. Together, we will formulate a treatment plan and only proceed when you are happy.

We believe in a team approach, and each member of our team is dedicated to patient care, comfort and knowledge. We work hard to listen to your needs, respond to your concerns and provide for your comfort and safety every time that you visit us. The important thing to note is that treatment progresses at your own pace so that it is comfortably within your own timetable and budget.

I had an implant fitted by Dr Samir Patel in 2016 and it has been great. Just recently it became slightly loose so I arranged to see him to get it checked out. It just needed tightening which he did straightaway. I would thoroughly recommend Samir for any dental work and especially for implants

At my hygienist appointment today I tried the new GBT Airflow cleaning system. I cannot recommend highly enough. As someone who is not a fan of any dental work, this made such a difference. It is pain free, gentle and removed stains from my teeth without the need for the usual scraping method. ImMy teeth feel cleaner, brighter and healthier.
